This page explains what personal information Visionaries Tree Solutions ("we" or "us") collects on this website and what we do with it. We are a small tree service in Asheboro, NC, owned by Caleb McClure and Jacob Fisher, serving North and South Carolina.

What we collect

When you send us a message

The contact form asks for your name and a phone number or email address. It also has optional boxes for your address or ZIP code, the service you need, and a message. We collect only what you type.

When you send photos

You can attach photos to the estimate form, or send a photo for the gallery. Photos are emailed to us. Before sending, your browser re-saves each photo as a new, smaller picture, which removes the location and camera details stored inside the original. If your browser cannot do this, it will not attach the photo, and you can text the photo to us instead. Photos you send for the gallery come with your name and email address, which we never show. We use estimate photos only to answer your request. A gallery photo is shown on this site only after we review it and only because you gave us permission when you sent it. If you want a photo taken down, contact us and we will remove it.

When you leave a review

The review form asks for a star rating, your name, your city and state, your email address and optional comments. Your name, city and state, rating, comments and the date may appear on this site after we approve your review. We never show your email address.

Automatically, cookies and tracking

Like every website, our host, Vercel, receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, and keeps ordinary server logs. We do not use this to identify you. This site does not set cookies, use analytics or advertising tools, or store anything in your browser, so there is nothing to opt out of.

How we use your information

  • To answer your message, give you an estimate and schedule work.
  • To confirm that a review comes from a real customer, and to publish it.
  • To keep business records, handle any dispute about a job, prevent spam and follow the law.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We will not add you to a mailing list or send marketing messages unless you ask.

Who else handles your information

  • FormSubmit. When you press Submit, your browser sends the form to FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party service that emails it to us. We do not control how FormSubmit handles data, so please see its website for its practices.
  • Google. Messages arrive in our Gmail inbox, which Google stores. This site does not load anything from Google when a page opens (our fonts are served from this website).
  • Vercel. Vercel hosts this website and delivers its pages to you.
  • Others, only when needed. Phone carriers when we call or text you, and authorities when the law requires it. If our business is sold, records may go to the new owner.

Some pages link to other websites, such as photo sources. Their privacy practices are their own.

Calls and texts

When you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you at that number about your request, such as to set up an estimate, confirm a visit or follow up on a job. We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Message and data rates may apply. To stop, tell us on a call or reply STOP to a text.

Reviews

Reviews are also covered by the Terms of Use and Review Guidelines shown next to the review form on our Reviews page. By submitting a review you allow us to show your name, rating, comments and date on this site and to use them in our own marketing, such as on our social media pages.

How long we keep information

We keep messages as long as needed to respond and for our records. Approved reviews stay on the site until you ask us to remove them or we unpublish them under the Review Guidelines.

Your choices: see, fix or delete

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call us using the details below, and tell us your name and how you contacted us. We aim to reply within 30 days.

We may need to confirm it is really you, and we may keep what we must keep by law or need for an open job or dispute. We can delete what we hold in our own inbox and on this website. Copies held by Google, FormSubmit or Vercel follow their own policies.

Security

This site uses HTTPS, which encrypts your connection. No online service is perfectly secure, so please do not send Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers or passwords through the form or by email. We never need them to give an estimate.

Children

This site is meant for adults and property owners, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's information. If you believe a child has sent us some, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
